Are you considering the possibility of moving Heaven and earth. Probably not. Yet it has been said "Give me but one firm spot on which to stand, and I will move heaven and  earth.” Jesus said something like this in relation to His church, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19 New International Version)

“Is not My word like fire?" declares the LORD, and like a hammer which shatters a rock?”

The Church, today is in a God-appointed crisis. Is connectedness in the life-fabric of the church an indicator of our connectedness to the Saviour and His Kingdom? I think so. A crisis of “convenience,” is at hand or should I say a lack of convenience. Meeting as a church participating in the life-fabric of the church is definitely less inconvenient. Can we just maintain this church-fellowship as another casual…? Jesus said, NOT! Those who testify of The Saviour say, “the old has gone (our way) the new has come (His way..” Witness is in the fellowship of His Body on earth the Church. The Church is both the medium and the message to the world here and abroad. To the Church today is committed, “Greater things…” according to our Lord and Saviour.

For those knowing God only as an inference: as fragments of creed, scripture, tradition and subjective experiences or circumstantial evidence there is trouble brewing. To know, we are told, we must know Him in the fellowship of His suffering, that is, in letting the cross rend the vail of the living spiritual tissue of your soul that will complain with pain and fear.

(“Self,” is the opaque veil of the soul that hides God from us. This thickly woven veil is of fine threads: self-fulfillment, self-realization, self-consciousness, self-promotion, self-admiration self-discovery, self preferences, self,… ) The cross is a rough deadly terrifying experience but effective in rending the opaque veil obscuring the manifest presence of God. “Gone”: shattered, burned as in the judgement of the cross is the testimony of the church to new life. As it was with the saviour so with us. let us not be ashamed in His great work and of those who shrink back.

“Is not My word like fire?" declares the LORD, and like a hammer which shatters a rock?”

Therefore I challenge you my friends to get connected in a Homegroup and all the inconvenience this entails. In This KWA study and fellowship group I will offer some tools to add or strengthen our spiritual warfare for the purpose of gaining wisdom and gentleness in our manner of living, that is. our daily living conversation-testimony to the the Gospel.
